THANK YOU LETTER FROM THE FOSCHI FAMILY

To our cherished family and friends and to the amazing Pungo/Virginia Beach community.

We are so blessed to have had Hudson as our son and brother – he was a force of nature in our lives and brought us more joy, love and laughter than we could have ever imagined. We are heartbroken without him and miss him every second of every day. 

Through our tremendous grief and sorrow, however, we have been the recipients of such incredible love and support. The outpouring we have witnessed from our local community and from people near and far has been nothing short of miraculous. We are overwhelmed by the care and love that has been shown to us in this, our darkest of times. 

We wish that everyone could have known Hudson – known the playful glint in his eyes, been the recipient of one of his wondrous stories, felt the warmth of his strong, sweet hugs, or basked in the glory of his brilliant smile. We are heartened by the recent sharing of so many stories about and pictures of Hudson – we feel that even those that may have never met him are getting to know him through these efforts. 

We established the Hudson Strong Foundation in order to more permanently continue Hudson’s legacy. By focusing on helping other children, we know Hudson’s generous and loving spirit will live on. It is our hope that, through the work of this Foundation, Hudson’s life can pave the way for other children to feel loved, develop self-confidence and reach their full mental, social, physical, emotional and spiritual potential.   

We thank each of you for all of the love and support – we feel your arms wrapped around us and your faith lifting us up during this terribly difficult time.
